San Diego, CA - December 22, 2005 - Syntarus Corporation,
a global telecommunications and information management technology
firm based in San Diego, CA today formally announced the debut of
wholly owned subsidiary RadioASB (American Songbook Radio), scheduled
for 4:00PM EST on Christmas Eve with a special six hour broadcast
of the RadioASB Christmas Eve "Yule Log" program.
The RadioASB Christmas Eve "Yule Log" program will feature
exceptional Holiday music from the American Songbook catalog with
songs old and new, ranging from the traditional and much loved Bing
Crosby version of "White Christmas" to the not so traditional
"A Christmas Love Song" performed by Manhattan Transfer.
According to RadioASB CTO, Richard F. Burrell, "The RadioASB
Christmas Eve "Yule Log" highlights the "best of
the best" of that rather extensive but loosely defined genre
of music known as American Songbook, and whether your preference
is for the refined elegance of Tony Bennett or the earthy working
class approach of Bruce Springsteen, the velvety croon of Nat King
Cole or the down home appeal of Burl Ives, the dazzling virtuosity
of Ella Fitzgerald or the spiritual creativity of Billie Holiday,
RadioASB has something to suit your style." He adds, "Listeners
will be treated to this incredible Holiday musical legacy by the
polished presentation of RadioASB program host Carl J. Sabatino,
a long time veteran of New York City FM radio."
Mr. Sabatino will apply his extensive broadcasting expertise by
expertly weaving a Holiday landscape bursting with a kaleidoscope
of musical moods, ranging from the very solemn, as expressed in
"Carol of the Advent" by the Canterbury Choristers to
the liltingly upbeat, with an acappella performance of "Joy
to the World" by the Beach Boys.
Mr. Burrell continues, "The Christmas Eve "Yule Log"
program, originally broadcast for many years each Christmas Eve
on New York City FM radio by Mr. Sabatino, has become a cherished
Holiday tradition for thousands of listeners in the New York and
New Jersey metropolitan area. We deemed it quite appropriate to
debut RadioASB by presenting the Christmas Eve "Yule Log"
program to a worldwide audience via the Internet." He quickly
adds with a wry smile, "Actually, we simply could not bear
to break with a long standing New York City tradition."
In the words of RadioASB CEO and program Host, Carl J. Sabatino,
"The Christmas Eve "Yule Log" is a Holiday gift to
the global radio community on the World Wide Web from all of us
here at RadioASB, and we will acknowledge that throughout the six
hour broadcast with special Holiday greetings and dedications sent
out to listeners literally worldwide."
The "Yule Log" will be liberally interspersed with RadioASB
"promo" spots, courtesy of two exceptionally talented
New York City radio personalities of distinction, Mr. Bill Owen,
one of the original voices of WABC Radio, and Ms. Jesse Anne Pirraglia,
formerly of WSIA 88.9 FM.
As a special treat, although it might be dark and chilly in New
York City when the program airs, this year the RadioASB Christmas
Eve "Yule Log" will warm the hearts of listeners with
some California sunshine by proudly showcasing the talents of two
Independent Artists from sunny San Diego. Chris Klich and the "Chris
Klich Jazz Quintet" deliver a superbly executed jazz rendition
of that perennial Christmas favorite "Winter Wonderland",
while Eve Selis and the "Eve Selis Band" grace the airwaves
with a country flavored original composition, "When Wishes
Come True". RadioASB welcomes and embraces the contributions
that both of these incredibly talented musicians and their respective
groups bring to American Songbook Radio.
The RadioASB Christmas Eve "Yule Log" program will be
broadcast from New York City on
December 24th, 2005 from 4:00PM to 10:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
RadioASB wishes the best of good health and good spirits to all
throughout the Holiday Season with much Peace, Happiness and Good
Fortune in 2006!
